AB B. Åkesson develops, designs and manufactures and converts technical foam applications. The main applications are in filtration as airtight and watertight seals, in acoustic insulation, packaging for protection against shock and vibration and insulation material as well as laminated products for the construction industry. The rawmaterials used are polyurethanes, polyethylene, PVC and cell-rubber. Technical foams must have specific characteristics for each application, and are therefore manufactured to the customer’s specifications.

AB B.Åkesson is a company in Mönsterås on the beautiful southeast coast of Sweden and has 30 employees. The Recticel AB, Gislaved, Sweden owns the company, and is a member of the Belgian Recticel Group.

Åkesson maintains a Quality Certification of ISO 16949 ,ISO 9001 and also an Environment Certification of ISO 14001. These are standards confirmed by international organizations for standardisation concerning quality and environmental matters for high standard companies.
